Argenis Marte is the owner of Jacqueline’s Auto Services, an auto repair shop located in a busy intersection in Haverhill, Massachusetts. As a small business owner, Argenis wears most of the hats. He is responsible for the daily operations, sales revenue, marketing, and customer service. The days at the shop can be challenging, but thanks to his father, Argenis has some experience in the business field. His father owns and operates Jacqueline’s Convenience Store which is located right across from the shop. He grew up right alongside his father, who has shown him how to handle the challenging aspects of owning a business from managing employees to meeting the needs of many different customers. Before his time at the shop, Argenis had many experiences in various companies. Most recently, he was employed as an Assistant Project Manager at G. Greene Construction located in Boston. He was part of a team leading the process from start to completion of a couple of projects within Massachusetts General Hospital. Apart from now being a business owner, he plans to continue his practice in construction through private building in the near future. Argenis has recently become a member of the Haverhill Latino Coalition, which plans to bring members of Latino owned business together to better the community.

He is a first-generation immigrant from the Dominican Republic who has lived most of his life in the states. He currently lives in Boston with his girlfriend Aliesha. When he isn’t working or brainstorming, he likes to spend quality time with his partner and family whether that may be karaoke at his father’s house, dinner at his mother’s house, hiking with his brother, or even playing tennis with Aliesha.

Argenis graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with a BS in Construction Management. He is currently in the process of obtaining his Construction Supervisor License.
