Operations Manager

  • Position Type: Full Time + Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus performance bonus.  Additional opportunities for growth and anticipated increases over time with the growth of the organization.

  • Benefits: Full health and dental benefits provided by LEADS. Generous vacation time and sick time, with an additional team-wide rest & reflection period at the end of the calendar year.

  • Location: This is a hybrid position. There’s an expectation of regular in-person co-working days (TBD but no more than 1 day/week) and being onsite at all LEADS fellowship events. Events are held approximately every 4-6 weeks for 1-2 days each, currently in the Merrimack Valley, North Shore and South Coast of MA. Some evening work around events will be needed.

Reporting to the president of LEADS, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, helping us translate our strategic objectives into operational success, overseeing the development and implementation of efficient internal systems to support our growth and ensure that our programs run smoothly and efficiently. You will manage program logistics, vendor relationships, internal systems, and support financial and social media strategies, contributing to the growth and impact of our mission-driven organization.

ABOUT LEADS:

LEADS activates local leaders to advance community transformation, together. Through a year-long fellowship with world-class educational programming, a proven entrepreneurial framework, and collaborative relationships, LEADS catalyzes business, civic and non-profit leaders to address pressing local issues. To date, LEADS has graduated over 250 leaders from our fellowship, resulting in a network of high-powered, influential changemakers from around the state, committed to addressing local issues collectively. RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Program Operations:

  • Event Coordinator: Work closely with the Executive Director to manage logistics and operations for our LEADS programs, which include full-day and multi-day events for 50-100 leaders.

  •  Vendor Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with our vendors, ensuring smooth contract management and top-notch service for all our events and operations.

 

Organizational Management:

  • Systems Organizer: Enhance and manage our internal systems for shared documentation, ensuring everyone is on the same page and operations run smoothly.

  • Database Coordinator: Launch and maintain a database to track our growing network of changemakers and partners, keeping our connections strong and organized.

  • Tech Support: Oversee and standardize technology use across the organization, ensuring our team has the best tools to succeed.

 

Systems/Capacity Building:

  • Project Management: Implement task and project management tools to streamline event management and support larger strategic efforts.

  • Funding Navigator: Develop and manage a process for qualifying and securing state tuition reimbursement for Workforce Training Funds, maximizing our resources.

 

Additional Opportunities:

  • Social Media: Develop and manage social media protocols to enhance our online presence and engagement.

  • Financial Management: Cross-train in financial management and internal financial tracking, gaining valuable skills and supporting our financial health.

OTHER ROLE DETAILS:

  • Compensation: Base salary will range from $65- 75K, with additional opportunities for growth and anticipated increases over time with the growth of the organization.
