Jose Cruz is a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer at Reading Cooperative Bank, where he specializes in CRE (commercial real estate) and C&I (business) loans. He has over fifteen years of experience in the financial and banking services field. He has worked throughout the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire regions and is extremely knowledgeable about the needs of the Lawrence and the Greater Merrimack Valley markets.
Jose is involved with a variety of community organizations and boards, including The Board of Directors of The Professional Center for Child Development in Andover and Lawrence, and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem, NH, where he volunteers as a coach for girls recreational volleyball. Jose is an active member of the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer with the Town of Salem, New Hampshire Ski Club. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family. Born in the Dominican Republic, he immigrated to New England in early 2001. He currently lives in Salem, NH, with his wife Grace and their two daughters.
Jose is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Management. Jose is currently an MBA candidate at the Isenberg School of Management at the UMass, Amherst, as well as a student at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
