Dr. Stewart the Vice President of Strategic Operations and Implementation for CIC Health, an innovative pandemic response startup company. To date, CIC Health has provided COVID testing and vaccinations to nearly 4M and 1.2M people respectively. She is responsible for oversight of sales, implementation, customer service and overall operations for testing and vaccination at CIC Health.
Dr. Stewart was at Steward Health Care (Holy Family and St. Elizabeth’s Hospitals) in the roles of COO and Vice President of Operations responsible for the oversight of clinical ancillary services, facilities, environmental services, emergency management, food and nutrition and spiritual care. Prior to this, she served as a Senior Manager at ECG Management Consultants where she served as the Interim Chief Operating Officer at Rutgers Health Group. Dr. Stewart was also the Vice President of Physician Services at Elliot Hospital, and was responsible for the oversight, operations and strategy for the multi-specialty Elliot Physician Network consisting of over 320 employed and over 300 non-employed providers, 400 employees and a budget of over $370 Million. In addition, she has held positions as an adjunct faculty and member of the Masters in Healthcare Administration Program Advisory Committee at Regis College in Weston, MA.
Prior to arriving at Elliot, she also held roles as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Administrative Director at Children’s Hospital Boston, the Associate Administrator in the Department of Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Administrator for Clinical Programs in the Department of Cardiology at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Dr. Stewart worked to implement interview day and onsite visits where UNH students visited Children’s Hospital, Joslin Diabetes Center and Elliot Hospital to build relationships between current students and leaders in the field. She has participated as a mentor in the UNH pathways program, served as a mentor to numerous HMP students, participated in UNH resume review day and been a member of the UNH HMP Advisory Committee. She has also served as adjunct faculty in the MPH Program at UNH Manchester. In 2016, she was asked to serve on the Alumni Board as a Director and assumed the role of President in July 2021.
Dr. Stewart received a Bachelor of Science in Health Management and Policy and a minor in Health Promotion at the University of New Hampshire in 1996. In 1998, she received her Master’s in Business Administration from St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa and her Doctorate of Law and Policy in 2009 from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She resides in Wayland with her husband and daughter.
