Samanda Morales is the co-founder and CEO of Ahora Inc., a 501c3 social enterprise that offers financial coaching, education, and wealth building services to moderate and low-income earners to empower them toward economic prosperity using an online proprietary tool she designed. Prior to her role as CEO of Ahora, Samanda worked in finance for nearly 25 years. She led teams at Bank of New York Mellon’s Global Institutional Accounting and Risk Solutions department. She also led a team at State Street Corporation in the Mutual Fund Custody department.

A Certified Personal Finance Consultant, Finance Instructor and member of the CFP board, Samanda also cares greatly about serving the community. She is a Trustee of Salem State University, a member of the North Shore Chamber’s THRIVE Advisory Council, a board member of Bethany Congregational Church in Lynn, MA and co- leads a Latina women’s group that empowers women through counseling and mentorship.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Samanda Morales is a living testament to the adage that hard work and perseverance always pay dividends. When Samanda is not managing money, she loves spending time at home with her husband and two sons.
