Padilla, Erin

Director

Creative Haverhill

Erin Padilla has been a part of creative communities for her entire life and has spent the last 8 years being an active leader within these communities by working in arts administration for non-profit community organizations. Erin is currently the Director of Creative Haverhill, a 501©3 organization that since 2008 has been supporting Haverhill arts and culture by providing experiences and access at the intersection of art, culture, and community. As the single staff-member for this organization, Erin manages programs, operations, community relations and partnerships, and the organization’s capital campaign to transform a historic school in Haverhill into a community art center, Cogswell ArtSpace. For previous organizations she has worn the many hats that non-profit work requires by working as an Arts Education Coordinator for all ages, Exhibition Curator, Programs and Festivals Coordinator, and Arts Administrator. Erin has fallen in love with Haverhill as a place and community and enjoys being an active community member both through her work but also by getting involved with community events and activities that bring people together and make Haverhill a healthier and more welcoming place to live.

While born and raised in Oregon, Erin and her husband Luke made the cross-country move to Luke’s hometown, Haverhill in 2017. Erin enjoys being creative and goofy with her nieces and nephew, taking her dog Nilly on hikes, whiskey and wine tasting with friends, and traveling with friends and family.

Erin received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2013 from George Fox University, a liberal arts university in Oregon. There she studied studio art and learned the creative problem-solving skills that she applies to her career on a daily basis.
