Alex Perez is the Lead Technical Recruiter for PTC, a Boston-based top-tier organization delivering next generation technology in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, IOT and Cloud-based SaaS. Alex is responsible for hiring executive management and individual contributors across all functions of engineering. In 1997, an internship introduced him to a career that would lead to continued education in the areas of technology and human resources as a technical recruiter. For the past 20+ years Alex has consulted and hired for some of the world’s leading engineering firms including Google, Microsoft, EMC/Dell and Verizon.

Alex has always been inspired to help the youth in his community. He became a Big Brother through the Big Brother/Big Sister program mentoring teenagers. In addition to that, he recently served on the Board of Directors for Notre Dame High School in Lawrence and is currently on the event committee for Socratic Inc, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships to high school seniors in the Merrimack Valley.

Alex was born and raised in the city of Lawrence, MA to immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic. Today he is married with three kids: Brandon (17), Sophia (13) and Daniel (12). When he’s not doubling as Uber dad, he enjoys time with family, travel, dinner with friends and quality time with his wife Cecilia.

Alex graduated from UMass, Amherst class of 1998 with a B.A. in International Business and a minor in Spanish and Finance.
