Francellis Quiñones is President of Quiñones Culture Consultants. She was an educator for almost fifteen years in the Boston Public Schools, Weston Public Schools, and Greater Lawrence Technical School before creating her own consulting company with her husband and Chief Operating Officer, Miguel A. Quiñones. Francellis is a history teacher, a teacher leader in all her schools, and the coach of her daughter’s soccer teams in Haverhill Youth Soccer and the Bradford Christian Academy’s middle school. She is also active in the community, serving on the board of The Haverhill YMCA, and volunteering with local organizations like Haverhill Youth Soccer, POSE, Leaving the Streets Ministries, and VIP.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, she lives in Haverhill with her husband Miguel and two daughters, Isis and Phoenix. When she is not wearing her educator hat or serving in the community, Francellis likes to hike, go to the beach with her family, and go to amusement parks. The Quiñones family is very civically involved in the community, with their daughters being active participants and presenters at rallies and marches. As the Organizing Program Manager at UTEC, she gets to use her passion for history, social justice, and activism. She is currently working for UTEC as the Organizing Program Manager, where she is helping young adults find their voice and agency to make changes in their lives and their communities.
Francellis got her Bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst in Political Science with a Certificate in International Relations. She also received her Master’s degree from the University of Essex in Colchester England in International Relations.
