Nate Robertson is the Community and Economic Development Planner for the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, a regional governmental organization charged with promoting the orderly growth and preservation of the region. Nate works collaboratively with each of the fifteen municipalities on issues related to housing and economic health. Prior to his work as a regional planner, Nate worked as the Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Haverhill. Before coming to the Merrimack Valley, he lived on Cape Cod where he made a documentary about addiction and recovery amidst the opioid epidemic and worked in the public health field.

Nate grew up in Rhode Island and currently lives in Haverhill where he also serves on the Planning Board. When not talking about public policy Nate enjoys playing strategy games, exploring small cities, and riding horses.

Nate graduated from the University of Vermont.
