Dr. Nick Sarantopoulos is the President/CEO of the Community Credit Union, a mission-driven financial cooperative serving a multi-national membership, with locations in Lynn, Peabody, and Somerville. His professional experience includes: Registered Principal and VP of Private Banking and Operations with an Investment Bank in New York City; Brooklyn District Manager and Chicago VP of Retail Services with a New York-based Bank; Industrial, Marine, and Aviation Credit Manager with Mobil Oil, and Coordinator of European Business Process Development with Mobil Europe in London, England.
Over the years Nick has served on several local boards such as the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce, Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce (former Chairman), Project COPE, Bridgewell, North Shore Community Development Coalition, Open Door Immigration Services, The Salem Partnership, etc. His present and past professional associations include the New England Council, the Credit Union Executives Society, Foreign Policy Association, American Society for Quality, SHRM, Alpha Omega, and certain ministry-related organizations.

Nick holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Leadership, Strategy and Ethics. He also holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Communication, an MBA in Finance, and a Master’s Degree in Apostolic Leadership and Applied Christian Ministry. He also holds Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma certificates from Villanova University, an Executive Coaching Certificate from Rutgers University, and is Certified as Executive Coach (ACC) and Team Coach for Organizational Performance (CTPC).
