Abel Vargas is an entrepreneur and President of Valley Home Insulation (VHI). VHI participates in the states Mass Save Program that looks to provide homeowners across the state with costs savings through Energy Efficiency. Prior to this endeavor Mr. Vargas served as the Economic Development Director for the City of Lawrence and later the Executive Director for Mass Hire Merrimack Valley. Mr. Vargas holds a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Massachusetts at Lowell and is near completion of a Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University with a concentration of Community and Economic Development. In addition to these activities Mr. Vargas is a board member of Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Reading Cooperative Bank, Browning the Green Space, and Mill Cities Community Investments. Mr. Vargas resides in Lawrence with his wife and two children.
